between:
- aesthetics
- usability, inc. download
time
- 90% of commercial sites
unusable (but they all lookgood!)
People try to do too much with
the Web:
- originally intended purely as
a hypertext browser but has become more
- has been compared to TV, but
it is more like the telephone
